Why this exists
Fifteen years on both sides of the bar.
Glass Box Solutions was built by a California Workers' Compensation attorney who spent 15 years handling cases on both the applicant and defense sides. That experience produced a specific understanding of what the work actually requires: not just legal knowledge, but the mechanical capacity to process enormous volumes of documents, forms, and deadlines accurately and quickly.
The existing tools did not solve this. Document management systems organized files but did not analyze them. General AI tools produced plausible-sounding summaries without citations. No tool in the CA WC space was built with the specific forms, the specific statutes, and the specific practice norms that make California Workers' Compensation different from every other legal domain.
Adjudica is the result of building that tool from first principles, with practitioners, for practitioners.
The Glass Box standard
Six principles that govern everything we build.
Cite the page, or do not claim it
Every fact Adjudica surfaces links to the document and the specific page it came from. If it cannot be evidenced, it is not in the output.
Attorney review is not optional
Adjudica fills forms, surfaces facts, and rates disability. Attorneys review, judge, and sign. That sequence is enforced by the product, not just recommended by the documentation.
Transparency at every layer
Confidence scores, reasoning chains, and source citations are visible on every output. Black-box conclusions are not in the product. This is the Glass Box standard.
CA WC, not generic law
Adjudica is trained on California Workers' Compensation specifically: Labor Code, CCR Title 8, PDRS, MTUS, WCAB practice, and the full body of CA WC case law. Jurisdiction-specific depth is not optional.
The product teaches while it works
Every deadline includes the statutory basis. Every calculation shows the formula. Every principle links to its source case. Attorneys improve their practice by using the tool, not just by reading documentation.
Compliance is a core feature
UPL constraints are enforced by code. HIPAA by design. Security audited. These are not afterthoughts. California Bar guidance on AI use in practice is tracked and reflected in every product update.
